Oceanfront Property Nova Scotia

Aerial view of Liscomb Oceanfront HomesitesOur Liscomb Oceanfront properties are being developed on 15 acres of prime ocean frontage on Liscomb Harbour a few minutes away from the famous Liscomb Lodge and Adventure Resort. Government owned, privately operated as a Signature Hotel, this is Nova Scotia’s only resort specializing in family adventures. The Liscomb area offers world class opportunities for sea and river kayaking, canoeing, water skiing, fishing, bird watching, wilderness walks, camping and hiking.

At Liscomb Mills the magnificent Liscomb River tumbles into the Atlantic Ocean. Over the millennia this powerful river has carved its way across 8 miles of rocky lowlands to reach the open Atlantic creating Liscomb Bay, a pristine, sheltered, tidal inlet. Our Liscomb Oceanfront properties are near the head of the Bay approximately one mile by water from the mouth of the Liscomb River and the resort.

Along our 1500 feet of Nova Scotia oceanfront tides are gentle and sea wash virtually non-existent. At low tide a very pleasant sandy, pebbly beach emerges along the entire frontage. Great for a beach walk. Our property is located on the deep side of the channel providing safe swimming and anchorage in front of every property.

There is much here for families to explore. Liscomb Harbour is haunted by many maritime stories and myths. Take a short boat trip and discover engravings on Liscomb Island hinting at buried treasure and an abandoned money pit where treasure hunters sought Capt Kidd’s booty.  Visit a deserted lighthouse and see its classic tower once proudly protecting the entrance to the bay. Find the remnants of an old settlement and its overgrown graveyard.

For centuries during the era of sail Liscomb Harbour provided sailors with safe haven. Today yachtsmen from around the world put in to Liscomb en route to Cape Breton’s magnificent Bras D’or Lakes renown internationally as a yachting paradise.

Our Liscomb Oceanfront acreages are approximately 2.5 hours drive from the Stanfield International Airport in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Our properties are priced to sell at less than $35,000 per acre.
